This attractive, fairly clean property has incredible full English breakfasts and accommodating staff. The units are en suite, neat.

Liked my very very good stay in a historic and interesting visit. Its staff was attentive and best.

The bathroom was very small, I didn't like it.

Altogether it was best value though. Breakfast was delicious, comfortable bed. Good sized room. The staff were loyal every time you dealt with them. We enjoyed to chill in the nearby The Fox.

Really near national railway museum. Bistro du Vin, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. Conveniently located, easy access from york train station.
